Description
Spend a full day at Nohoch Che’en Archeological Reserve — one of Belize’s most iconic natural destinations — combining two of the best adventures the Cayo District has to offer into a single unforgettable day. Your guide picks you up directly from Casa Maruka and takes care of everything from there.
You’ll start with a short jungle hike to the cave entrance, then float along a gentle underground river through ancient limestone cave systems. As you drift through the darkness, your guide brings the caves to life, pointing out stunning rock formations and sharing how the ancient Maya viewed these underground rivers as a sacred gateway to the underworld.
After the caves, you’ll sit down for a proper lunch at the Nohoch Che’en on-site restaurant before heading back out for the zip-line. Refreshed and ready, you’ll trade your tube for a harness and take to the treetops, soaring through the rainforest canopy with sweeping views of the jungle below.
Your guide will have you back at Casa Maruka by around 4:00 PM.
