Cancellation Policy

At Casa Maruka Belize, we understand that travel plans can change. This policy outlines how cancellations are handled and what guests can expect regarding refunds.

Deposit Requirements

To confirm your reservation, a 25% deposit is required at the time of booking. This secures your dates and allows us to prepare for your arrival.

Cancellation Guidelines

If you cancel more than 30 days before your scheduled arrival, we’ll issue a full refund—including your deposit. If you cancel between 14 and 30 days before arrival, you may cancel your reservation, but the 25% deposit is non-refundable. If you cancel within 14 days of arrival, no refund will be issued. No-shows or early departures are not eligible for any refund.

How to Cancel

To cancel your reservation, please email us at casamarukabz@gmail.com with your full name, reservation dates, and booking reference number. We’ll confirm your cancellation and any applicable refund within 48 hours.

Refund Timing

Refunds are processed immediately upon cancellation. Most guests receive their refund within 3–5 business days, though in some cases it may take up to 15 days. For certain countries, such as Brazil or India, refunds may take up to 2 months to appear on your original payment method.

Extenuating Circumstances In rare cases—such as medical emergencies or government travel bans—we may consider a full refund outside the standard policy. Valid documentation is required, and decisions are made on a case-by-case basis.
